The chef/owner, Francesco Pellino was born in Naples, Italy
and at the young age of 9 emigrated to the United States. At
the young age of 15, he took a position as a dishwasher and
within 6 months was assistant tot he night chef at a prestigious
establishment in the late 70's known as Stella's of Boston. Throughout
his school years, he worked 30-40 hours per week in the restaurant
business while financing his college education. Upon
graduating college from Northeastern University with honors,

and remained in the restaurant industry.
At the age of 28, he opened his own establishment know as Pellino's
Fine Italian Dining. The food is regional Italian, with heavier
accents towards Northern Italian with a Provencal flair. The
food is rustic, somewhat peasant and chic. The young
chef keeps himself trained and up to date with he latest trends
in the food industry by enrolling in the Culinary Institute
of America in New York and visiting Italy on yearly visits.
Also, by attending seminars, wine tasting, advanced cooking
classes and researching.

others. It participates in food shows for charitable
organizations and received the "Peoples Choice Award" in
1993 and 1994 at the SUCCESS Food Show which is a non-profit
