Newly remodeled and expanded-though it's still "small" enough to feel "intimate" - this Marblehead "winner" pairs its extensive, " star" - bright Northern Italian menu with a "terrific" selection of wines; though it's pricey for the North Shore, most don't dispute it's "well worth it."

2004 Zagat Survey Results: ""One of the better dining establishments north of Boston" this "romantic' "find" brings a touch of the North End" to seaside Marblehead; "you feel that each dish" on the "superb" , ever-changing Northern italian menu is "made especially for you", and there's a "terrific" wine list to boot if only the digs weren't so "cramped."

2000 Zagat Survey Results: "Maybe the best restaurant in Marblehead, this consistent local favorite wins over the North Shore set with modern Italian specials like garlic crusted rack of lamb and fresh ravioli; outstanding wine list and friendly, knowledgable staff further secure its status, though a few feel it's worthy of a better space than this crowded noisy locale.

1999 Zagat Survey Results: "This chef owned, Marblehead Italian with fresh flowers on every table offers modern dishes (like potato-crusted sea bass drizzled with red wine sauce) that all too often seem to be alien fare in the suburbs; of course, there are the usual suspects (rack of lamb, lobster fra diavolo) as well; interesting wines are a plus."

Pellino's was also featured in Channel 5's ABC Chronicle as one of the destination restaurants of the North Shore in February 1999 and March 2000.
