Lake Placid Tournament Information
--Shootout/Relay
Races (2 players & and both goalies) will be
held on Friday at 11:30am.
--Team Pizza party after Friday game at Mr. Mike's. (1:00pm)
--The games will be played as follows: 1st. period-10 minutes stop,
2nd. period-12 minutes stop, and 3rd. period-12 minutes stop. Minor
Penalty’s are TWO MINUTES stop. No overtime during round robin
play.
--Player of the game awards will be given out at the conclusion of
EACH game.
--Team picture (included in tourney cost) will be taken prior to our
first game.
--Mercy rule is six goals is running time in the third period.
--Don't forget shirt and ties.
--Double check hockey bags for equipment.
--Parents bring ice skates for skating on the outside Olympic oval.
--Cell phone numbers list has been handed out.

The
A's are confirmed at the Golden
Arrow Hotel which is directly across
the street from the rink and close to town! A schedule will be posted
very soon so check back!
The
A's will skate on the ice where the Americans won the Gold Medal
in 1980 and 1932! The tournament consists of a minimum four games
against teams from all the USA and Canada! More information on
the tournament including game schedule will be posted soon.

Directions
to Lake Placid New York from Danvers
Massachusetts Turnpike (Route 90) West to the end (Mass. border). Continue on
the New York Thruway (Route 90) until exit B1. (The route numbers can be confusing
at times because 90 and 87 often seem to be the same road).
Upon
exiting, pay toll, and continue towards Albany until you reach Route
787. You will see the city of Albany off to your left. Take Route
787 North towards Troy for about 5 miles until you see a sign for
Route 7 west to Saratoga / Schenectedy. Take Route 7 for about 2
miles until you see a sign for 87 North (The Northway) to Saratoga
Springs/Glens Falls. You will be entering Route 87 at exit 7.
Take
I-87 to Exit 30, follow Route 9 North 2 miles to Route 73 and continue
28 miles to Lake Placid.
The
Golden Arrow is directly across from the Olympic Stadium and
rinks.
